Hurricane Season 2010
Hurricane season officially runs from June 1st to November 30th with the peak months being August and September. Typical hurricane seasons produce ten tropical storms with six becoming hurricanes. If you are interested in hurricanes we suggest the Federal Emergency Management Agency's hurricane web page at
http://www.fema.gov/hazard/hurricane as a good place to start.

July 19th 2010 - The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center is now closed; however, residents have until July 27th, 2010 to call the FEMA disaster claim number to file a claim. The FEMA number is 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
