As of January 1, 2007, the Town of Groton is offering taxpayers another method of making payments online through eBill. eBill is an electronic bill payment service which allows taxpayers an easy, secure and online method to make payments. eBill is a service offered through MCC (Metropolitan Communications, LLC. eBill allows Groton taxpayers to electronically access and pay their real estate, personal property, motor vehicle taxes and sewer use charges online.
A fee of 35 cents per transaction is charged when using ACH transfer (electronic check) from your checking or savings account. For credit card payments, the fee is based upon the amount of the payment. Contact MCC at (508) 460-6000 or www.mcc.net for further information.

To begin using this service, you must register for online payments and then log in to the payment site.
NOTE: PAYMENT OF REAL ESTATE, PERSONAL PROPERTY AND/OR MOTOR VEHICLE BILLS MAY ONLY BE MADE DURING THE JULY (July 1 – Aug 1) AND JANUARY (Jan 1 – Feb 1) BILLING PERIODS. THESE FILES ARE NOT UPDATED TO INDICATE PAYMENTS AND/OR ADJUSTMENTS OR REMOVALS.
