The staff in the Division is responsible for removing snow and ice from all Town roads; for the continuous maintenance of road surfaces; for repairing, resurfacing, striping traffic lines on Town roads, and minor reconstruction of roads; for drainage maintenance and construction; sign maintenance; repair of traffic signals, traffic signs and streetlights; and emergency storm cleanup, The staff preserves and maintains all improvements within Town right of ways' such as pruning and removing trees and shrubs in the off pavement portions of roads; trimming grass and brush, controlling roadside vegetation, and removing litter.
